Man shot in arm on Near West Side

A man was shot in the arm about 8:20 p.m. Thursday night in the 1200 block of South Jefferson on the Near West Side, Chicago Police said.
The man, who was outside at the time of the shooting, was taken to Stroger Hospitalpolice News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
No one was in custody Thursday evening. Area Central detectives were investigating.
