A 56-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in her car in the South Loop on Wednesday night.
The woman was parked in her driveway about 6:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Clark when a man brandishing a handgun sexually assaulted her in the vehicle, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said. The attacker took her house keys, entered her home and robbed her husband before fleeing.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, Gaines said. Her husband was not injured.
