4 men shot since Wednesday afternoon on South, West sides

At least four men have been wounded in separate shootings on the South and West sides since Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The most recent shooting happened about 10:25 p.m. in the Austin neighborhood, where a 26-year-old man was shot multiple times after a gunman walked up to him in the 5600 block of West Fulton Street and opened fire, police said.
The man was shot in the chest, arm and back, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said, and he was being treated at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park. His condition was not immediately known.
About 8:30 p.m., a 31-year-old man was shot in the legs in the 400 block of East 74th Street, Alfaro said. The man was listed in “stable” condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Alfaro said.
About 6:30 p.m., a 22-year-old man shot in the shoulder in the 1500 block of North Lorel Avenue, Alfaro said. The man was taken to West Suburban, where he was listed in good condition.
About 3:30 p.m., a man in his 20s was shot in the right leg in the 4800 block of South Drexel Boulevard, Alfaro said. He was taken in “stable” condition to Northwestern Memorial, Alfaro said.
