2 teen girls shot on South Side

Two teenage girls were wounded in an apparent drive-by shooting Tuesday afternoon in the South Side, police said.
The girls, both 16, were in the 2300 block of South Leavitt Street about 4 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said, citing preliminary information.
The teens were taken in good condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Greer said.
Police have made no arrests as Area Central detectives investigate.
