Police warn of armed men robbing cellular phone stores on South Side

Chicago police issued a crime alert after several cellular phone stores were robbed by armed men over the past two weeks.
In each instance a group of between two and four young males entered the stores and displayed a handgun before demanding money, according to the alert.
The four similar robberies all occurred on the South Side in the Chatham, Roseland, Back of the Yards and Woodlawn neighborhoods.
According to a police description, the males are black with slim to medium builds, ranging in age between 17 and 25 years old and all stand between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot tall. They were all wearing masks during the robberies.
