A man who has robbed five Northwest Side and suburban banks since late October struck again Monday — this time in Glenview.
The man robbed the MB Financial Bank branch in the 2200 block of Waukegan Road in Glenview on Monday, according to the FBI.
He also is suspected of robbing the Glenview State Bank branch in the 1800 block of South Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights on Nov. 23; the TCF Bank branch in the 2300 block of North Harlem on Nov. 15; the Harris Bank branch in the 600 block of Busse Highway in Park Ridge on Nov. 9; the Community Bank branch in the 7100 block of West Irving Park Road on Nov. 5, and the TCF Bank branch in the 1400 block of West Algonquin in Rolling Meadows on Oct. 26.
Each incident was described as a “non-takeover robbery,” according to the FBI.
The FBI described the robber as white, 6 feet tall and wearing wearing a baseball cap.
A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction. Anyone with information should call the FBI’s Chicago office at (312) 421-6700.
