A Chicago woman flew into rage and allegedly attacked her boyfriend with two knives — and her teeth — after she returned home Saturday night and found him watching TV with another woman.
Lakeshia Hall, 28, was charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of James Moore, 55, who was seriously injured, Cook County prosecutors said Sunday during her bond hearing. Hall, a home health-care worker, was jailed on $750,000 bail.
Hall — who told police she had been drinking before the stabbing — allegedly accused Moore of being unfaithful, then grabbed two kitchen knives and stabbed him in the chest, neck and side.
When Moore tried to wrestle the knives away from the 5-foot, 8-inch, 165-pound Hall, she allegedly bit him on the right arm, prosecutors said. Bite marks were visible on Moore’s arm when paramedics arrived to treat him, according to police reports.
Moore was in Stroger Hospital of Cook County on Sunday.
