Man found dead after attack in west suburb

A man was found dead Saturday morning after he was apparently attacked in west suburban Cicero, authorities said.
The man suffered some sort of head trauma during a battery in the 1200 block of Central Avenue, authorities said. The man’s body was found outside, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said, and he was formally declared dead at 5:07 a.m.
The man’s identity remained unknown Saturday night.
Officials with the Cicero Police Department did not immediately return calls for comment Saturday.
