Man shot in back in West Loop

A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting early Thursday in the West Loop.
The 23-year-old man was standing near the intersection of Halsted Street and Jackson Boulevard when shots were fired from a vehicle about 2 a.m., according to officers with the Chicago Police Department’s News Affairs office.
The vehicle was last seen driving east on Jackson, said police News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak.
The man was taken in good condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
No arrests have been made as Area Central detectives investigate.
