Man fatally shot in face during drug deal, police say

A man died after he was shot in the face during an apparent drug deal at his home in the Back of the Yard neighborhood Wednesday night, police said.
Brandon Johnson, 30, was shot when he answered the front door of his home in the 5400 block of South Wolcott Avenue about 7:25 p.m., authorities said.
Johnson ran back inside his home, where he was declared dead shortly after, authorities said.
Police have made no arrests as Area Central detectives continue to investigate the shooting.
