Man shot dead inside his car in Auburn Gresham neighborhood

A man was shot dead in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood Wednesday night, authorities said.
Kenton Morgan, 28, was sitting inside a car in the 8000 block of South Halsted Street when someone approached and shot the man in the stomach about 9:30 p.m., authorities said.
Morgan, of the 8600 block of South Justine Street, was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:40 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Police have made no arrests as Area South detectives investigate.
