Two men were wounded — one fatally — in a shooting Thursday night in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side, authorities said.
A 28-year-old man was shot in the head about 8:05 p.m. in the 200 block of East 106th Street, authorities said.
He was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 11:14 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office, who identified him as Damien Clayton of the 7700 block of South South Shore Drive.
A 47-year-old man was also wounded, authorities said. He was taken in serious condition to Roseland Community Hospital, Alheim said.
Area South detectives are investigating the shooting, but no one was in custody early Friday.
