Man found shot to death on South Side

A man was found shot to death in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday night, police said.
The 23-year-old man was found dead in the 6800 block of South Calumet Avenue about 7:20 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, Zala said.
He was identified as Travon Watkins of the 6900 block of South King Drive, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
