Man fatally shot in Sauk Village

A man wounded in a south suburban Sauk Village Tuesday died a day later, officials said.
Zonnie Johnson, 20, of the 22400 block of Clyde Avenue in Sauk Village, was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
He was shot Tuesday in the 200 block of Jeffery Avenue, a medical examiner’s office spokeswoman said.
Sauk Village police could not immediately comment.
