Man shot in Garfield Park

A man was shot in the foot late Monday night in the West Side Garfield Park neighborhood.
The 18-year-old man was shot in the foot in the 2800 block of West Madison Street about 11:50 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said, citing preliminary information.
He was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in “stable” condition, according to Gaines.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
