Man shot multiple times, killed on South Side

A man who was shot multiple times Tuesday night in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side died early Wednesday.
The shooting occurred about 11:35 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Ingleside Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro, citing preliminary information.
The man was sitting on a porch when two men approached and began firing, police said.
The man – identified as Muhammed Kebbeh, 19, of the 5800 block of South Indiana – was pronounced dead at 12:15 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Police have made no arrests as Area South detectives investigate.
