Pizza deliveryman shot on West Side

A pizza deliveryman suffered a gunshot wound to the leg Tuesday night in the Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
The 28-year-old man told police he was shot in the 3100 block of West Monroe Street about 11:30 p.m., said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines, citing preliminary information.
After being wounded, the man drove himself to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was listed in stable condition, Gaines said.
Police have made no arrests as Area Central detectives continue investigating.
