1 dead, 13 wounded in shootings since Monday night

A 17-year-old boy is dead and at least 13 others have been wounded in shootings since Monday night.
The teen was standing with a man and two women in a park in the 2100 block of East 96th at 10:18 p.m. when someone shot at them, according to police.
The teen -- identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as Alixi Johnso of the 9600 block of South Merrill Avenue -- was shot in the neck and transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.
He was pronounced dead there at 11:01 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
A woman, 24, was shot in the abdomen and taken to Stroger Hospital, while a 30-year-old woman was shot in the leg and taken to Christ, officials said.
A man, 21, was shot in the left leg and was also taken to Stroger.
All three were listed in stable condition Monday night.
At least 10 others were wounded in shootings on the city’s South and West sides. Most were hospitalized in good condition.
The most recent shooting happened about 4 a.m. when a 28-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to the back while sitting in a parked vehicle in the 7000 block of South Wentworth Avenue.
She was taken in good condition to Stroger.
No one was in custody for any of the shootings early Tuesday.
