South Side shootings leaves 19-year-old in critical condition

A shooting in the South Side’s Grand Crossing neighborhood Tuesday night left a 19-year-old man in critical condition.
The man was sitting on a front porch in the 1100 block of East 81st Street when a light-colored sedan pulled over about 10:30 p.m., according to police News Affairs.
A man got out of the car and fired shots at the 19-year-old, striking him in both arms and the left side, police News Affairs said.
Paramedics took the man to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in critical condition, police News Affairs said.
Police have made no arrests as Area South detectives investigate the shooting.
