Man shot dead in Fuller Park community

A man was shot dead in the Fuller Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon on the South Side, police said.
Phillip Finley was shot multiple times about 4:05 p.m. in the 5400 block of South Wabash Avenue, authorities said.
Finley was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was pronounced dead at 4:55 p.m., police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office did not have a home address for Finley, who was believed to be in his 30s.
Police said Finley was affiliated with the Gangster Disciples.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
