Teenage boy, 17, found shot dead in Bronzeville

A teen was found shot dead Sunday night in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.
He was walking with a friend in the 800 block of East 45th Street at 10:15 p.m. when a male with dreadlocks, possibly in his late teens, got out of a nearby four-door silver vehicle and began shooting in their direction, police said.
Lenard Trust, 17, was found shot in the leg and head near his home in the 800 block of East 45th Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
No one is in custody. Area Central detectives are investigating.
