A teenage gambler bit the head of a Chicago cop who questioned him Saturday night on the West Side, prosecutors said.
Tramaine McCollum, 18, was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer following the incident at 8 p.m. in the 4000 block of West End Lane.
Stopped while running in a “known outdoor drug market,” McCollum told officers he was chasing a girl after gambling in Garfield Park, according to a police report.
When he tried to get away, police tackled him and he bit one of the cops on the arm and head, the report said.
“Don’t do me like that — I’m on probation,” he allegedly told the cop, who was not seriously hurt.
