Man shot in back while fleeing from fight at West Side restaurant

A man was in critical condition Friday night after being shot in the back while trying to flee from a fight at a West Side restaurant.
About 10 p.m., four men began physically fighting with a 40-year-old man at a restaurant in the 3200 block of West Cermak Road, police said.
The man began running away from the four men when shots were fired, police said, adding that the man was shot in the back.
Paramedics took the man in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting, which Area Central detectives are investigating.
