Two teenage boys were wounded Friday night in separate shootings on the Far South Side.
The first shooting occurred about 8:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of West 113th Place in Morgan Park, where a 16-year-old boy was shot in the right forearm, police said.
The boy was taken in “stable” condition to Metro South Medical Center in Blue Island, said police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety.
At 9:53 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was shot in the left buttock in the Pullman neighborhood.
The teen and another person were standing on the sidewalk in the 12100 block of South Emerald Avenue when a light-colored vehicle passed by and shots were fired, said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
Paramedics took the boy to Metro South Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition, Gaines said.
