A man and teenage boy were wounded in an Englewood shooting Thursday afternoon on the South Side.

A 22-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were on the sidewalk in the 7400 block of South Ashland Avenue about 2:50 p.m. when several unknown males approached and opened fire, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
