Man shot in Gage Park drive-by

A man was wounded during a gang-related drive-by shooting Thursday night in the Southwest Side Gage Park neighborhood.
A 25-year-old man was in an alley in the 5500 block of South Rockwell Street at about 8:55 p.m. when a dark colored van drove past and fired shots, according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro. Police originally reported that the location was the 2600 block of West 55th Street.
He was taken in good condition to Holy Cross Hospital with a gunshot wound in the left leg and a graze wound to the lower right arm.
The shooting is believed to be gang-related, Alfaro said.
