Teenage boy wounded in Austin drive-by shooting

A 17-year-old boy was wounded during a drive-by shooting in the West Side Austin neighborhood early Friday.
The boy was standing on the sidewalk in the 100 block of North Laporte Avenue at 12:11 a.m. when a light-colored sedan drove by and fired shots, police said.
He was taken in stable condition to Mount Sinai Hospital with gunshot wounds to the chest and arm.
No one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.
