Man, woman, shot in Garfield Park

A man and a woman were wounded in a shooting in the West Side Garfield Park neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
The shooting happened on the 100 block of South Kildare Avenue about 3:15 p.m., according to police Officer Daniel O’Brien.
A 29-year-old man was shot in the lower back and a 35-year-old woman was shot in the lower leg area.
Both were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where the woman was listed in good condition and the man was stable.
Area North detectives are investigating.
