Two men in critical condition after being stabbed on South Side

Two men are in critical condition early Friday after a stabbing in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.
A 33-year-old man became involved in a physical altercation with the 34-year-old boyfriend of his child’s mother about 12:10 a.m. in the 700 block of East 60th Street, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
Both men were stabbed in the abdomen area and initially taken to University of Chicago Medical Center but then transferred in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, Greer said.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
