Two teens shot on SW Side

Two 15-year-old boys were wounded in separate shootings Wednesday night in the South West Side Marquette Park neighborhood.
At 8:53 p.m., a 15-year-old boy walked into Holy Cross Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines, adding that the teenager was listed in good condition.
The boy told police he was shot in the 2400 block of West 72nd Street, Gaines said.
About seven minutes later, another 15-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to the head in the 6400 block of South Whipple Street, Gaines said.
The boy was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, Gaines said.
No arrests have been made in either shooting, which are being investigated by Area Central detectives.
