Police have released surveillance photos of a group of teens who allegedly beat a Red Line rider in an iPhone robbery Downtown Saturday.

The teens allegedly took the phone from one passenger and beat another about 10:20 p.m. before fleeing the train at State and Lake streets, according to the alert issued by Area Central detectives.

Police are seeking a group of teens – one female and several males– in connection with the robbery, and have released surveillance photos that they hope will lead to their arrests, according to the alert.

The man was treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, but no details of his condition were released.
