Man shot in Roseland neighborhood

A man suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks early Wednesday in the Far South Side neighborhood of Roseland.
The shooting occurred about 12:43 a.m. near the intersection of 108th Street and Champlain Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
The 43-year-old man was taken in good condition to Roseland Community Hospital, where he was treated and released, Gaines said.
The man was driving a white Buick at the time of the shooting, according to unconfirmed dispatch reports.
No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting, which Area South detectives are investigating.
