Police warn residents of West Side burglaries

Police are warning residents of the West Side Garfield Park neighborhood of a series of home burglaries that occurred last Monday.
Various items were stolen from homes in the 2400 block of West Erie Street while residents were out on June 4 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to an alert from Area Central detectives.
A residence in the 2200 block of West Superior Street was also burglarized about 8:45 p.m., the alert said.
