Two shot on I-57 near Cal-Sag Channel

Two people were wounded when people in several vehicles fired shots at each other early Friday on Interstate 57 near Calumet Park, witnesses told the Illinois State Police. The shooting happened at about 2:10 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-57 near 127th Street, according to the state police. One of the vehicles involved was a white Audi, which the police found near the Cal-Sag Channel. When officers got to the car, two people jumped out, got in another vehicle and drove to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the police said. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. Police found four other people who were being questioned.
