Grayslake Police Chief Matt McCutcheon was arrested last Friday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and armed while intoxicated.
McCutcheon, 46, of Grayslake was driving with his wife around 9:45 p.m. on County Highway C and was turning onto Route 45 when he struck a vehicle head-on.
There were no injuries. A Kenosha County sheriff’s report said McCutcheon smelled of alcohol, was swaying and said he had a few beers with dinner. The deputy told him he would conduct a sobriety test and McCutcheon said he was refusing everything.
