Funeral set for teen killed in burglary

Funeral arrangements have been announced for a 14-year-old Indian Head Park girl killed at her home on Thursday.

Kelli O’Laughlin is believed to have walked in on a burglary in progress at her home on the 6300 block of Keokuk Road before she was stabbed to death. She was found by her mother.

Visitation for the Lyons Township High School freshman will be Wednesday and Thursday at Hallowell and James Funeral Home, 1025 West 55th St., Countryside, between 4 and 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be 9:45 a.m. Friday at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Road, Western Springs, with the burial at Fairmont Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs.
