Who’s on the new Navy Pier Board
The new Navy Pier Inc. is scheduled to take over management of the pier July. The board members:
Marc Brooks , managing partner of a company that owns 20 Burger Kings in Iowa.
Nora Daley , daughter of mayor and outreach director for Chicago Metropolis 2020.
Patrick Daly , chairman of developer and construction manager Daly Group LLC.
Sarah Nava Garvey , retired executive for Boeing Co.
Roberto Herencia , director of bank holding company SKBHC.
Donna La Pietra , v.p. of documentary producer Kurtis Productions Ltd.
David Mosena , chairman of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority and chief executive of the Museum of Science and Industry.
Terry Peterson , v.p. of government affairs at Rush University Medical Center and ex-chairman of the CHA.
James Reilly , trustee of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority.
John Schmidt , partner in law firm Mayer Brown LLP.
Kurt Summers Jr. , chief of staff for Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and former managing director with Ryan Specialty Group.
Kelly Welsh , general counsel at Northern Trust Co. and onetime corporation counsel for Mayor Daley.
Andrea Zopp , chief executive of the Chicago Urban League.
