White Sox legend Minnie Minoso has been hospitalized in Chicago after falling from his boat.
Team representatives said they spoke with Minoso Saturday and that the baseball great said he is “feeling fine.”
The 88-year-old had been pulled from the water Friday and taken to St. Joseph Hospital for tests, according to White Sox spokesman Scott Reifert, who said Minoso will probably be released from the hospital on Sunday.
The nine-time All-Star outfielder and Gold Glove-winner made his debut for the White Sox in 1951 and spent 13 full seasons and parts of four others in Major League Baseball.
