Three people were stabbed during a home invasion early Tuesday in Aurora.

Aurora Police said five people, including a child, were in the home in the 700 block of Fifth Street about 4:35 a.m. when four masked suspects forced their way inside through a back door.

The suspects huddled the family — two men, ages 52 and 23; two women, ages 54 and 22, and a 5-year-old girl — into a room and demanded their valuables.

Police said the two men and the 22-year-old woman were battered and stabbed in the room. They suffered serious wounds and were taken to an area hospital.

At least one suspect had a gun, and others had knives, police said.

The suspects rummaged through the home before fleeing. Police said it wasn’t known whether the suspects left in a vehicle or took anything from the home.
