A 14-year-old boy was shot multiple times Wednesday evening in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Three males, one of whom opened fire in his direction, approached the boy about 6:35 p.m. in the 12000 block of South Perry Avenue, said Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.

He was taken to University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital with gunshot wounds to the legs and arm, Pacheco said.

Area South detectives are investigating.
