Superheroes get wake-up call in jail
"Superman" and "Batwoman" spent the night in West Side jail cells in full costume after they were arrested in separate alcohol-related incidents early Saturday.
Mario A. Reyes, 21, of Hoffman Estates, allegedly was intoxicated and was kicked out a party in the 800 block of South Oakley about 3 a.m., police said. He allegedly broke bottles in the hallway, frightening partygoers, Chicago Police said.
Reyes was charged with misdemeanor reckless con- duct and spent the night in the Harrison District lockup in his Superman costume -- cape included, according to police.
About 5 .am. Saturday, Cori Prifogle, 36, couldn't find her apartment door in the 700 block of West Washington, police said. She asked for help from a woman in the building and allegedly became belligerent when the woman didn't recognize her, calling the woman names and pushing her, police said. She was charged with misdemeanor battery and taken to the Harrison District lockup dressed in a latex Batwoman outfit, police said. Rosemary Sobol
