A man was seriously injured during a shooting early Friday the West Side.

Police found the man shot on the sidewalk at 224 N. Kolin Ave. about 12:20 a.m. The man, in his 20s, was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. Circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known, police said.
