Man fatally stabbed in South Holland domestic

October 26, 2009

A man was fatally stabbed at his home during a domestic dispute at his south suburban South Holland home Sunday night, authorities said.

Luther Mannie, 29, of the 900 block of East 159th Place, was stabbed at his home and was pronounced dead at 7:22 p.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Mannie was stabbed during a domestic dispute with relatives shortly before he died, according to the medical examiner's office.

A South Holland Fire Department firefighter would not comment and South Holland police are investigating but refused to comment early Monday.
