Worried relatives of a man who went missing after attending a Halloween party in the West Town neighborhood are asking the public for help in their search.
Emmanuel Dominguez, 30, was last seen in the early morning hours of Nov. 1 after attending a rave party near Walnut Street and Damen Avenue, according to his cousin, Yvonne Martinez.
Dominguez, a bartender who works at the Dana Hotel on Chicago’s Near North Side, left the party with his girlfriend and got into a car with several people he did not know, Martinez said. Dominguez reportedly got out of the car at some point and has not been seen since.
His phone was last traced to the intersection of Ashland Avenue and Division Street, according to Martinez.
“We have no answers, basically,” said Martinez. “It’s frustrating, we just want to find him. We’ve been passing out flyers in Bucktown and the surrounding area. I can’t sleep. I just want to find my cousin. It’s scary and it’s cold outside.”
Relatives noticed Dominguez, who lives in Summit but often stays with his girlfriend at her place on the North Side, was missing four days after the Halloween party. His car was found near the party, according to Summit Police Chief Les Peterson, who has been working with Chicago Police Department to help find Dominguez.
“Anyone with any information should notify police,” said Peterson.
