Man shot while inside West Pullman home

A man was wounded early Thursday when a bullet entered through a window of a home in the West Pullman neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting occurred about 5 a.m. in the 12400 block of South Stewart, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

The 49-year-old man was taken in stable condition to Roseland Community Hospital with a gunshot wound in the shoulder, Greer said.

No one is in custody and Area South detectives are investigating.
