22 children hospitalized after Wicker Park bus crash

More than 20 children were hospitalized when a school bus crashed in the Wicker Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon on the North Side.
The bus and a car collided about 3:20 p.m. near North Ashland and North Milwaukee avenues, Chicago Police said.
Paramedics took 22 children to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center and Rush University Medical Center, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
All of the children were hospitalized in “good to fair” condition, according to the fire department; police said the youths were sent to the hospital as a precaution, according to the fire department
Police could not immediately say if the driver of either vehicle had been cited.
