O’Hare International and Midway airports are now offering free Wi-Fi access to 41 websites, via a new portal called “The Good Stuff,’’ officials said Thursday.
The portal, offered in connection with wireless provider Boingo, can be accessed by any device type, including a laptop, tablet or smartphone, City Department of Aviation officials said.
To enter “The Good Stuff” portal at O’Hare or Midway, users should visit the Boingo Wi-Fi network and select “The Good Stuff’’ panel on the left side of the page.
This should open access to 41 sites, including the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Time Out Chicago, the Weather Channel, Monster.com, Zillow.com, WebMD, Amazon, Ebay, Craigslist and key airlines operating out of O’Hare.
“O’Hare and Midway are two of the city’s most important economic engines, and this program is a clever and innovative way to make passenger experiences more enjoyable and productive,’’ Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in a news release.
