Man charged with DUI after crashing into Chicago Police car

A 47-year-old Chicago man was charged with misdemeanor DUI after crashing into the back of a Chicago Police cruiser Saturday night in the Marquette Park neighborhood. Two police officers were injured in the crash about 8:40 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Western, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. They were take to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
Christopher Slotwinski, of Chicago, also was cited with reckless driving; driving without insurance; driving too fast for conditions, and driving on a suspended license, police said.
