Man dies in NW suburban fire

A 47-year-old man died in a fire at his home in northwest suburban Huntley on Sunday morning.
Allen R. Jacobs was found during a fire in his home in the 11700 block of Woodcreek Drive in Huntley at 6:25 a.m., according to a release from the McHenry County Coroner’s office. The cause of death was not yet known.
The death is being investigated by the coroner’s office, and the Huntley Fire Protection District and the Illinois State Fire Marshall are investigating the cause of the fire.
A representative from the Huntley Fire Protection District could not immediately be reached for comment Sunday.
