Chicago Police detectives were questioning two men Sunday in connection to the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl who was pistol-whipped and carried unconscious into a truck on the South Side, police said.
The girl was taking out the trash Friday night in the 400 block of East 83rd Street in Chatham when a black truck with six men inside pulled up and someone told the girl to get in, police said.
The girl tried to get away, but someone hit her over the head with a gun and carried the unconscious girl into the truck, which drove to a residence, where the men took turns sexually assaulting her, police said. The girl was able to escape and told police that the men, thought to be in their 20s, spoke a foreign language, police said.
Police arrested two suspects Saturday night after the girl pointed them out, police said. No charges had been filed against the men by Sunday night, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
